Dragon's talented Paddington artist, Terry

Paddington Bear, the well-loved animal all the way from Peru, has for years been lovingly brought to life by the talented artists at Dragons of Walton Street. Painted on iconic rush chairs eating marmalade or on toy chests exploring the sites of London, Dragons of Walton Street alone have the right to paint Paddington onto their handcrafted children’s furniture.

Paddington, nearly 60 years since the first book was published, is once again the subject of a new film and the bumbling hero in a major Christmas TV campaign with Marks & Spencers. To celebrate the new Paddington 2 Movie, Dragons of Walton Street brought together a selection of journalists, influencers and their children for a Paddington themed event.

Children were encouraged to nibble on marmalade sandwiches or Hummingbird bakery cupcakes, take a selfie in the specially made Paddington board and were treated to a special reading of a Paddington adventure. Parents watched artist Terry as he deftly conjured Paddington from a blank piece of paper and the lucky little guests also took away a hand painted Paddington money box. Guests were then treated to a viewing of the new movie

Hand painted Paddington Bear furniture exclusively available at Dragons of Walton Street Elystan showroom and online at www.dragonsofwaltonstreet.com
